The History

Once upon a time (in 1996) a once a week tour guide drove down Turnagain Arm with scheduled tours. Customers were not allowed to get off at and enjoy the scenic sights of interest on the route. Not until that tour guide made his dream a reality – to create a shuttle service that allowed visitors to stay 2 to 8 hours in one location and enjoy the restaurants, activities, hiking and surrounding area to the fullest. Thus the Turnagain Arm Shuttle was born.

We hope those visiting Anchorage will enjoy utilizing our shuttle to enjoy the various activities found on the most scenic highway not only in Alaska, but the whole of the United States – known as the Turnagain Arm.
